Introducing Strangas Gyros Greek Streetfood

One breezy day on a beach in Mykonos, Niko had a moment of realization about his little dream; placing good Greek street food on the map of the Danish food scene. From then on the formely pastry chef at michelin restaurant Era Ora and Hotel d'Angleterre switched to street eats.

Everything starts with the soft, fluffy pita, which gets brushed with butter before being lightly toasted. A soft bite with an explosion of flavours is what our team strive for people to experience. Our meat are thoughtfully selected with focus on being welfare or free range. Each of the meats is marinated with fresh herbs and grilled to finish. The combination of the grilled meat or halloumi wrapped in our soft pita bread defines the whole texture of Strangas Gyros.

Everything on the menu is inspired by years of travels and reflects Nikos vision of the perfect gyro. Our team aims to bring back your summer nostalgia.
