This easy homemade lemonade says summer with 5 ingredients and plenty of fresh flavors. It is quick, delicious, and refreshing – a summer crowd pleaser!
150 gr sparkling water
200 gr lemon juice
50 gr sugar
50 gr water
Thyme, basil, mint or ginger
For best flavor, use freshly squeezed lemon juice from real lemons. To extract the most lemon juice, before you cut them, roll each lemon over your cutting board with the palm of your hand, pressing down as you do. This will help them to release their juice.
For a healthier lemonade, you can substitute the sugar with a natural sweetener, like honey.
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and the lemon juice. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Remove from the fire and let cool down and add the sparkling water, fresh mint (or other). Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Serve with ice cubes and lemon slices.
